Edit Test Plan

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to edit a test plan in ContextQA. It covers tasks such as changing the name and description of the plan, adding new test suites, and creating new machines or devices for testing. By following these steps, users can easily update and customize Test Plans to meet specific requirements.

Steps:

1. Navigate to Test Development section

2. Click on Test Plans

3. Click on Testplan which needs to edited

4. Click on Edit (Pencil icon)

5. Rename your Testplan (if required)

6. Adding Description (Optional)

7. Edit the Parallel Node (Optional)

8. Click on Next

9. You can Add Test Suites (Optional)

10. Select the required Test Suites

11. Click on Right arrow to Add selected Test Suites

12. Click on Add

13. Select the Test Suites

14. Click on Add Machine/Device

15. Click on Create new Machine

16. Enter a name for your Machine/Device

17. Click on None (user can choose different options based to requirements)

18. Select Platform by clicking on the dropdown

19. Click on Browser or Devices

20. Click on Browser dropdown icon

21. Click on Microsoft Edge or other browser accordingly

22. Click on Create

23. Click on Next

24. Click on Update

25. Test Plan Edited Successfully
