Find Locater of an Element

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to find the locator and use the selector in the ContextQA extension. It explains how to access the necessary options and edit the locator's value, ultimately enabling users to save and apply the changes.

Steps

1. Navigate to the required page

2. Right click on the Element that you need to find locator

3. Click on ContextQA Test Automation

4. Click on ContextQA - Find Locator

5. Click on ContextQA Extension

6. Click on Selector

7. Username Selector is visible as Element 1

8. Click on the Edit icon and rename Element 1 as Username

9. User can see it's locator values

10. Click on save

11. Click Ok
